We want everyone to be able to use verselli.be, including with a screen reader, with the keyboard alone or with magnification. This is where we stand, how we tested it and what is not right yet.
Our goal
We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
What this statement covers
The website verselli.be in Dutch, French and English, including the start wizard and the login window.
Not: app.verselli.be, where you run your website, or the websites customers make with Verselli. They have not been tested the same way yet.
Conformance status
verselli.be is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: most pages meet what we tested, with the exceptions under “What is not right yet”.
How we tested
Automatically: axe-core with the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, on 13 pages in the three languages, at desktop and phone width, in the light and the dark theme. Also Lighthouse’s accessibility score on 10 pages: 100 on all 10.
With the keyboard: on the homepage, pricing, webshop and contact pages, “Skip to content” is the first stop and every stop shows a visible focus. The login window and the start wizard open as a dialog, focus moves into them and Escape closes them.
Motion: with “reduce motion” set on your system, animations stand still and the tabs at the top of the homepage do not turn by themselves. Otherwise you can pause them.
Magnification: at 320 pixels wide, no tested page makes you scroll sideways.
Not done yet: a test with a screen reader (VoiceOver, NVDA or TalkBack) and a test with disabled people. Automated tests find only part of the problems.
What is not right yet
The screenshots of the Werkplek and of example sites have a short description. The text on those screens is not available separately as text.
The start wizard has been checked with automated tests and the keyboard, not yet step by step with a screen reader.
Stuck somewhere?
Email us at info@verselli.be: tell us which page, what you were trying to do and what you use (for example a screen reader or magnification). We look for a solution with you and change the site.
