About Verselli
Your own place on the web, without the hassle.
Verselli helps small businesses with a website, a webshop and an online agenda, in one place and for a fair price.
How we work
No commission
Verselli takes 0% of your sales. You pay your plan and the fees of your own payment account.
Fair prices
All prices are excl. VAT and we also show the amount with VAT. You can stop at any time.
You stay in charge
Your domain name stays yours, at your own registrar. And you can always export your site and leave.
Who we are
Verselli is the trading name of Mohammed Haibout, a sole proprietorship in Mechelen, Belgium (Sint-Rumoldusstraat 25, 2800 Mechelen). Enterprise number (KBO) 1041.718.434 · VAT BE 1041.718.434. Verselli is a platform for building and running your own website or webshop. One team builds the platform and the custom sites; you email the people who do the work directly.
Build it yourself or have it built
You build it yourself with the same tools we use, or you let us build your site for a one-off price. We call that “bespoke”. Bespoke
Safe and fast
Where your shop runs, in plain words.
You do not need to know any of this. But you are entitled to know how it works.
Runs on the Cloudflare global network
Close to your visitors
Your site runs on the Cloudflare global network. Every visitor gets your page from a place near them, so it loads fast.
A database of its own for every shop
Every shop has its own database (SQLite), apart from every other shop, in storage that stays in the EU.
An encrypted copy every night
Every night we make an encrypted copy (AES-256) of every shop’s database and of the platform’s. The copies stay in the EU. We keep one from each of the last 7 days, 4 weekly and 6 monthly ones, going back about half a year. Your photos are not in that nightly copy: they sit in separate storage (in the EU), apart from your shop’s database.
HTTPS everywhere
Every page travels encrypted over https, on your own domain name too.
Payments through Stripe
Your customers pay on Stripe’s secure payment page. Card details never reach us.
Busy moments take care of themselves
There is no single server that can fill up or fail. If a crowd suddenly arrives on your site, the network scales with it by itself.
How are things right now?
Our status page (in Dutch) shows whether everything works and whether last night’s backup succeeded.
No service is reachable all the time, and neither are we. That is why we promise no percentage. We do everything reasonable to fix an outage fast.
